Thought id do a quick (very quick) post on here as its been a bit dead recently.
o.k december i decided i would take a bit of a break from poker, due to christmas etc etc but i still played the odd hour here and there but very very little volume, but managed to turn in a pretty tidy 900$ or so profit online for the month, which considering i played maybe 30 hours for the whole month online im over the moon with. i was pretty much only playing 50.1 cash tables on full tilt, 6-max and 6-tabling so a lot of aggression etc, so thts a very nice bonus to the roll even from a very lazy month. cant actualy remember if i played live during December, so certainly nothing worth remembering!!!
a couple of days after new year a few people headed down to jonlundy’s new pad in houghton-le-spring for a chinese n a few beers etc etc the plan was to stay one night only, however, having being told by jon to move “the brava” further down the drive, i ended up not being able to get my car off the drive for a whole week in the 7 inches of snow that were lying, FML. so i ended up spending the week monday-sunday at his house lol the week started alrite, after 3 days i was around 4004 in profit, which included being 0/8 for cashes in mtt’s, think made a couple of buyin’s at both 6 max 50.1 and heads up 50.1, so was pretty happy with the start of the night. then however came the 2 day downswing, genuinly running bad and managed to drop about 9 buyins at 6 max 50.1 and a few hundo on mtt’s with no cashes again. so it comes to my lastnyt on saturday and i am inside of about a 1k hole for the week, when i load up 7 or 8 mtt’s accross FTP and PokerStars, ranging from 20$ to 100$, and cash in 3/7 including taking down the 32kGTd on ftp for 9.3k!!!!shiiiiip!!!!!well out of the hole for the week and a great start to the year. in all hnesty it was the easiest mtt iv ever played, i was a total cardrack and had all hands hold up, pokers easy if u run tht good!!!
What the future holds for 2010. I shall be playing as part of junlundy’s stable, which will be grinding 6 max cash with the occasional live mtt thrown in there, hopefully i can begin to play a serious full time volume of poker and approach it full as a job. i have a figure in my head which i want to have by the end of 2010 so hopefully i can achieve this:-)

Just a review of my day today. probably the most swongiest day ever when i got off to a flier running decent then the downswitched kicked in and ran like turd for 20 odd games until my last game where i binked a 3 outer 10 handed for the chiplead on FT and took down the last tourney of the day. Amazing what 1 little break can do!!
Anyways im happy with my profits for the day but fuck me it takes its tole on the heart!!!
Sorry for not posting on here for a while, been a bit busy getting everything set up for me to play poker properly and been getting in a pretty sick volume of poker. Since DTD iv decided to not search anymore for a job and to try and make a decent living out of poker, for atleast 6 month or so and take it from there, see how it goes. Was lucky enough to bink about 9.5k in DTD deepstack game so i actualy have the roll to give it a shot. However, since DTD, i have ran truely awfull, im deciding to make my money thru’ turbo sit and goes which obviously is part of the reason of my run bad with the variance being so high as it is push or fold every hand. I have also began to find myself a little bit bored with poker, simply because its so hard to come from playing on a final table with 60k up for grabs, to grinding out 24$ sit n goes. Im still actualy in profit since i came back from DTD due to winning 2k one night in aspers playing a super sick £1£2, however recently i have only had 1 winning day over the last 3 weeks or so. Today i decided to take a break from playing to hopefully clear my head out and get me refreshed and wanting to play poker. I think this is the 1st day i have not played any poker for around 3 months maybe lol and im gunna come back 2moro refreshed and ready to grind some profits out. Also, the weekend is the 1st weekend of the month so that means the dtd 300deepstack is on.WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! just me and milo and fat snort and original snort and money snort and key ring snort and car arial snort going down i think, and hopefully one (preferably both) can get a deep run and make some mad money!!

firstly would just like to say wish a speedy recovery to Imi, as does everyone on the team, seems like things have been getting better the last few days so hopefully it will continue and we’ll see imi again soon!!
ok my last post was made just before i went to amsterdam, and i had an awsome week, and really helped clear my head with the shit poker i was going thru at the time.
however, it was an expensiv trip, and combined with my downswing, my poker roll is no longer as big as it was. dont get me wrong im far from skint, but cant quite spend money the way i was at my peek. also with no job im gunna have to find some way of making an income.
also with being a bit sick of the shit hours i have been living recently, i am going to be focusing online more than live like i used to, online i can play through the day and not have to stay up all night to play.
so basically i am going to be turning myself into the walkersensations very own boku87, or as i will prefer to be known as from now on “buzku22″ (catchy as fuck isnt it). basically im gunna be mega multi tabling turbo sit and goes, i am able to comfortably play 16 at a time and possibly more if i get myself a proper computer with 2 monitors. these 12$ 9 man turbo sit n goes last around 45 minutes each so i think i can realistically play between 16-20 an hour. i am also aiming to play around 2-3 hours per day, which means i shall be looking at around 30-50 per day, for 5-6 days per week, so i shall be aiming for between 200-300 games per week. from past experience in these games and sharkscope tells me i make around 1$ average profit per game, so therefore i hopefully should be able to make between $200-$300 per week profit. plus 27% rakeback on full tilt which will be around 50$ for 200 games and 75$ for 300 games. Therefore in total, i estimate i can make around 250$ and 375$ per week from these sit n goes. not huge amounts of money but making around 18-22$ per hour cant be that bad can it?? Now obviously this is with everything going perfectly to plan everyday of the week, and i know exactly how hard it will be, but i believe these targets are fair and very acheivable for me. and it is also not something i just plucked out and guessed that i could do, and i have not just picked random targets. in the last 7 days i have played 140 of these games and made 210$ profit. and this is alongside spending around 20 hours of the last week playing in miniftops tourneys, so therefore, with the extra time allowence from these games, i should be able to make the 200-300 games up no problem.

ok i have just booked up a week long holiday firstly in amsterdam and then in paris and am leaving tomorow afternoon. this is welcome break to recent streak of poker which has been a hurrendous downswing both live and online, so im going on holiday to hopefully be blasted out my mind for a week and comeback refreshed and ready to grind again. when i return i will probably be back to where i started a few months ago, which is a huge shame considerring the roll i had built up for myself, but i stil have a big enough bankroll to go back to the £1£2 game and make some big money. First up for me after my break though is the MINIFTOPS, i am regged for about 7 events (including the 250$ 6 handed) and i cannot wait for these. although i think myself as a cash game player, i have been close to a big score recently in live tourneys without actualy making much, hopefully i can close out a tourney one time and scoop a few grand.
sorry about the totaly random rantings but just thought id type summit quickly to say bye to you all!!!and to rub it in that i will be pissed/stoned and shagging some1 for the next 7 days and you wont!!!!!
o.k as a few of you know i had my first job interview this morning, as an “enforcement officer”. Now this is a the new title for the job, which is commonly known as a “traffic warden”. So i am posting this to apologies to everybody incase your are fined for indecent parking procedure. I understand how much scum i am if i get this job!! On a serious note, the job seems canny, four 10 hour shifts every 7 days and after every 7th week i get 7 days off plus 4 weeks holiday a year. The pay is around 21k per year aswel plus decent council staff benefits.
As for where this leaves me with poker if i do get this job (or any other job for that matter) i wont be playing such a high volume of cards. The last few months for me poker has been my income and it has been extremely successfull for me, not trying to sound arrogant but iv made a shitload and would be making more money than your average person in an average job. However i just feel its time to live a proper life where im not awake til 9 am and then sleep til 4pm, and something to get my health back on track when im not drinking sugary drinks all night and eating unhealthy casino food!!! However, i do know if i dont like the job i get, i can always quit and play poker again to tide me over till i find something new!!
I will still be playing a lot of poker though with the sensations and on my days off. And if i get 4 days off a week thats still a lot of poker!!

o.k guys last weekend was a pretty good one 2bh, after donking out the G tourney on friday night i went home n played a few MTT’s online, including the “daily double’s” on full tilt, 2 $10 tourneys with over 1000 players each. Spunked out early in the 1st one but managed to come 2nd in the other!!!with around 200 left i lost a 33k pot with average stack around 7k when my AK couldnt hold against AQ AIPF urgh. i was left with about 4k, one double with 77 vs a9 and i was set, bubble abusing time, just about doubled my stack around the bubble. Flew to the final few tables without a showdown really just accumalting pre flop, blind stealing and 3-bet restealing. Cruised thru the final table where again i was the most active playeron the table keeping my stack chipped up with lots of small pots. Get to heads up and i have a very very slight chip lead but for some reason my play just totaly goes to pot and i let him run me over, i eventually ship with a6 he wakes with aq and it holds. Really disapointed with me HU play after i basically owned the whole tourney from 200 players in. Oh well $1.3k isnt a bad scoop from 10$ i guess!!!
O.k Saturday night out with the sensation’s starts for me at “Chez Sensh” i knock on the door and he opens wearing nothing but a towell which is too small for him so he has to hold it round him with his hand, and hes still soaking wet, was a picture and a half. A few stella’s and spoona arrive and we get the taxi to the gate. Sitting outsides banatynes watching all the clunge go past with comments such as “id do her” “look at the tits on her” and “i can see her arse when shes going up the escalator”. Onto mushroom (loads more clunge) where the treble vodkas begin to be downed and jagerbombs going down a treat. Baught sensh a drink but he was being a puff and didnt accept it, then he minced off home like a little girl, last time im taking her out. Nights a bit of a blurrr from this moment on but i can remember the singing to skipper walker “shoes off if you love skipper” my personal favourite. We ended up on the G after this where i managed to spill pizza down meself sometime, mustve looked like such an arsehole never mind eh!!!

O.K just thought id go through a quick run through of my poker carear so far.
A few home games and the odd messing around with free money on pkr basically taught me the rules of the game. Thanks to my good mate Alex (J10BLN) Jobling i ended up making my first proper appearence at Circus around October 08. I began playing mainly the £10£10£10 on a Monday night and a few other weekly tourneys and after a couple of chops for a few quid i was hooked. Joining the NPF also added to my addiction as because of this site there was permantently something to do in regards of poker.
After a few weeks of live poker, i began to play online, pokerstars first off where i played small stakes mtt’s and stt’s. I was hurrendous, my sharkscope graph gave me a nice little fish next to my name with around a deficit of 200$ on this site. Around Xmas time 2008 somebody sent me 30$ on Full Tilt Poker, and in my 1st day of playing on that site, i managed to luck box 2 MTT’s final tables for 170$ and 190$. Over the next 2 months i turned this money into around 1600$ and had built myself a very nice online roll. Plus from playing around 400 games it had taught me a lot of the ins and outs of poker. FTP is the site i still occaisonally play on now under the username buzzharvey22.
I then had a horror few months in the game, my first bad patch in poker. I could not win a thing, could not cash in a live MTT and could not make a bean online. Maybe my previous success had got to me and began to disrespect the ability of other people? Coupled with a hurrendous run of luck and running bad i began to hate the game. I had also moved over to Ipoker online where i was attempting to multi table low stakes cash and to grind out profits, there is no way anybody can find this type of thing enjoyable, so my love of the game had definatly decreased, i really did not know what i was doing with the game.
Around this point i started to become friends with a big local player Michael Tedder (arse licking post i know), and he encouraged me to take poker serious and play the live £1£2 game at Apsers more,although i was no way bankrolled for this game, i thought it was worth a shot. And playing like an absolute rock, waiting for the nuts, and letting the fish pay me off, i went on a heater of all heaters. Playing around 3 times a week for a month, i had only 1 losing night, and managed to make around 2.5k in this month wooo!!! Im still playing this game now although not as high volume and still turning in nice profits every week from it, with my style of play i think it is very hard to lose when playing a deepstack game of poker, i wait for the nuts, and when i know im miles ahead to get my money in. I built myself a very nice roll to play with and i am pretty comfortable to move onto bigger buy in mtt’s ie gukpt and dtd deepstack games, also moving up to the £5£5 pound game on a regular basis, rather than sitting shortstack like i do now. Another thing this heater did to me was give me the confidence and arrogance to be a good poker player which i had never had before. I think this is essential to be a winning player, unless you walk into the casino knowing you can beat anybody at that table, you will not do it.
So there you go, im Buzz, would class myself as a speciallist cash player, with the odd dablle in an MTT. And i love being part of the WALKERSSENSATIONS, a great group of people with amazing crack, nights out holidays and camping excursions are on the cards and long live the crack.

sat 200 on 1.2 and worked up to 350 until this hand
i look down at AA on cut off, pop it to 9, button calls, big blind calls, both have me coverd, flop Q103. i fire 24 and both call. turn 2. i fire 100 happy to end it now, button passes, big blind tanks and ships, i snap call knowing im good, 8 on the river, and insta flips q8 for riverd two pair, a nice 750 pound pot an hour into the trip.
let off a bit of steam on 50.1 with a few flush draws hitting against me i find myself at 400 down for the trip.
move back over to 1.2 with the last remaining 200 in my wallat and flopping the nut straight with 2 dimonds on board, 1 player calling down to the river, i check river and he puts me in, instinct told me he didnt have the flush draw and i grew the balls went with my read and my straight was good, got me out of the hole a little bit woohooo!!!!!!
won 120 pound playing 1 card up one card down poker aswel so got myself just about out the hole i was in!!!!just baught into the 300 game aswel feeling a lot better about myself than i did an hour ago.#]
dom also got himself out of a 500 pound hole after hitting two full houses in a rowand doubling up both times and hit n waddled away straight after like an absolute douche bag nob cheese and out of his very large hole aswel!!!
all in all a horrible night but finished on a high!!
