Lets have another Team night out for my birthday, which is on Saturday 12th September. Not sure about any plans yet, but I figured we could meet in town and go from there. If anyone has ideas, do share.

I was playing dealers choice at Aspers on Thursday I lose 2 significant pots when I was miles ahead:
1) AAJJ all in on a KJ6 flop. Q-10-x-x gets there
2) Ad-As-Kd-10d-10s all in on a Kh-4d-5d flop vs 6d-3d-x-x-x. 2s on the turn. Then get a rubdown from someone not in the hand. This really pisses me off.
Anyway wonder over to G and play 25p/50p. Mr Chan is on my right, so am very happy.
I limp UTG on Chan’s straddle with Ad-Kd. Every1 limps and as expected Chan raises to £5, so I just ship my £30 in. Chan is the only caller and the board runs A-6-8-4-K. I wait for Chan to show A-8 and say “You are so fucking lucky, Mr Chan, so lucky!” and flash the Ace. He’s about to scoop the pot, when I say “Not this time tho” and then flash the King. He’s not happy, but I am.

So I couldn’t make it on what sounds like an awesome night out because I had booked train tickets home for friday afternoon. So was it worth it?
Erm,no.
Friday night was spent at home doing nothing. Only notable thing was I shared a train journey with a girl who I used to like at University and had her sit next to me, from York to Birmingham. What seemed like a good idea turned out to be pretty crappy after 2 hours.
Saturday was spent doing fuck all.
Sunday was spent all day at a Community Sports Day, where I thought it would be a bit of fun, but I guess I missed the memo where everyone decided to take it seriously. Got my ass kicked at badminton, which was all I could be arsed to play. Nearly saw a fight, but unfortunately nothing kicked off.
Came back today after spending the morning getting aggro from my Mom.
The weekend was so not worth it. FML
