2010, i am going to start playin alot more live and online poker so hopefully i will have some good news to blog

Morning all, I aint posted for a while so i thought so i aint been 2 sleep 2nite and im bored shitless then id do a quick post!!!
Over Xmas saw my sharkscope, boost profits to over $900 and ROI to the tune of 30% over almost 400 MTTs and SNGs. This brings me for the 1st time ever to shark status on sharkscope, which am ttl happy about 
mainly this is down 2 stumpy spending alotta time with me to work on my online game and never gave up so i owe alot to him for the big improvement in my game over the last 6 month.
This month was also time for Mini FTOPS i only managed 2 play 3 which i was a little disapointed about, but was a pretty busy month!! I played event #1 which was a ttl disaster. Me and Samj played at andy carlins flat, 1st break ive got 12k from a 5k stack, and the internet ttly fails for 40mins….finally get back, just b4 next break where i squeeze out 1 last hand and get my stack at 13k from 10k.
Then just as break endsm internet fails again, so off we drive across newcastle to andys flat mates house, internet fails there, so i ring buzz to play for me while we walk 2 the Uni to juice their net, luckly buzz doubles me up 2 14k just as i get reconnected.
back on at last!!! build stack to around 16k then get JJ raise and get 2 callers outta blinds, flop comes 3c x 10c…SB open shoves for 11k into a 3k pot. My Insta read tells me flush draw and at least 1 over, which doesnt make me a massive favourite but theres still 4,000 odd players left so i take the flip for a stack and fail. This hand ttl cripples me, and end up tilted off the rest of my stack, a shit way to end a ttl shit nite!!!
The next 2 events are both the final 2 events, event #24 was a $12 KO i played so bad in this i cant even remember my exit hand, all i can remember was trhinkin i wasnt in the mood for the main event later that nite, but i thought id give it a shot.
7.5k starting stack, longish levels and 15,000+ ppl set me up for a long nite ahead. b4 1st break i am on 17.5k!! Key hand was KK v AK.
blinds 20/40 UTG raise to 250, every folds 2 me, i figure him for a strong hand and pop him to 1k of my 8.5k stack…he now ships it for 7k i think for a lil bit and call he has AK and i hold, followed by 10mins of abuse from him on the rail.
tbh it then gets a lil hazy, 8 hours later all i know is i sumhow get my stack, all be it swinging all over the place to 175k with 350 players left. Ive been card dead for around 2 hours and a lil 2 hand rush boosted my stack nicely, i then get KK, and pop it up, the button tank RRs me, i started the hand with around 17BBs just over half average, my intial thoughts are JJ+ and AK, but with my stack size i cant click the all in button quick enuff……only to get snapped by AA and its good nite at around 6am. $280 cash….but cudda been alot better 
On Xmas morning i also binked a MTT for $350 , and then came 5th in same MTT xmas day for $108, not a bad xmas!!!

Just open a new account on FTP, and have decided to grind away within BRM and see how i do.
With a $500 bankroll, i decided i was gna play between 6-10 tables of $5 SNGs, my volume hasnt been wat i wud have liked tbh, been working abit this week so just managed to get in: 144 games @ a 21% ROI with a profit of $220. Also played a little bit of low stakes PLO where at PLO10 i sat with $10 and left with $100 increasin my cash win to $150 for the week, so overall with abitta bonus and RB increase my roll to $900 for the week.
I feel my ROI isnt sustainable at 9man SNGs but once i hit a 1k roll im moving up to $10 SNGs and hopefully despite a drop in ROI my total profits will rise/maintain between $1-$2 per sng.
Aim of the game? Run so well i can leave circus til i get my police interview next year? Or spin up a bankroll for vegas baby
Although the targets may not be realistic it gives me a drive and motivation i need to stick to my game plan and BRM!! And who knows what may happen with experience and a decent winrateper SNG!!!

Been playin online quite abit recently and occasionaly live. ATM im having the worst run as far as i can remember. I cant seem to win a hand no matter how far ahead or behind i am. Seems to have been going on for 2 month at least. TBH, recently i have won SFA and im begining to question whether or not its worth it. My confidence is at an all time low, and when i am in a hand it all seems cloudy, like i have no idea where i am in the hand, this obv makes decision making very hard. Online I have worked out and plugged a few leaks such as playin and especially limping into too many hands, i need 2 cut this out.
This also seemed to transfer into my live play where friday saw me being in the cash game for £140, i eventually got even and then it just dwindled away.
Sat night i tighted up and short stacked 50/1 with 50 quid and left with £120.
Ive noted a few things I need to change such as seating postions and decisions pre flop.
From now on i plan to play SnGs and MTTs online, and save cash game play for real life. Fingers crossed i can turn it around and begin winning again!!
So hopefully looking forward to a few months of grinding my roll up and hopefully will be able to play £1/2 very soon

So pretty sick of Poker ATM, probs not going to play again this month!!! Never ran this bad in a long time, and its affecting my play in a way. Never mind will hopefully back on track soon!!!
Congrats on out lasting a huge field, only 2 get very unlucky heads up, nice cash for over £2k tho very well deserved after a sick run of finals and results lately!!!
Also must say a huge Unlucky to SamJ who wen 5 handed on the FT bubble runs KK in AA, so so sick!!
My 1st post on new blog so i thought i might aswell copy every1 else and tell ya how i started…
I started playin back in the summer of 2005, i was taught by a few of my friends who played regualry over weekends, so i learnt the game and started plyin alot with them.
It wasnt too long until i started winning most nights at the home games, during the summer i pretty much lived off the money i made playing poker of my friends.
The games prett much died off around September time, and with not being to play in to casino as only being 17 i pretty much stopped playin apart from occasionally online.
Then around Febuary 2006 i started playin live, done nout my 1st few weeks so i started learning more about the game through reading books and watchin it online and on TV, i soon begun to gather results and monentum and soon enuff i had paid for my holiday in the summer thru playin poker. Easy game!!! i was hooked.
Had a few ok results, made 2 GUKPT final tables this year, chopped the 1st £100 at Aspers in Jan, made the Circus league final where I got a chop, and also won the £2k guarantee at the G and came 2nd in the £3k guarantee 2 weeks later. However, i have not acheived anything compared to what i had hoped, been alot of stupid decisions this year – financially, and now to be where i wanna b im going to have to put alotta hard work in this year.
Plans for the future – concentrate on building a roll and stop wasting all my winnings on the tables. Going to grind out the 25p/50p tables until the end of the year and continue playin live MTTs, and hopefully will be playin bigger events by the end of the year!!
Loving being apart of the Walkers Sensations – best group of lads I could ask for, really good laugh we always have a great time 2gether and of group quality poker players!!
